Fire Breathes Stone and Storm is an epic fantasy set on the world of Thyra, where four continents are shaped by the elements of fire, air, stone, and water.

The story follows Sekya, Lio, Riva, and Khala. Born without parents, they grew up together, bound by circumstance and survival. Now grown, they find themselves caught in the rising conflict between the elemental kingdoms, where old balances are failing and loyalties are being tested.

What begins as political tension becomes something far more dangerous, as the truth of the world and their place within it begins to surface.

What inspired the story?

The world of Fire Breathes Stone and Storm was inspired by real-world discoveries about early human history.

Modern genetic research shows that humans carry DNA from multiple ancient hominin species that once lived across different regions of the world. Humanity did not arise from a single, isolated lineage, but from overlapping ancestries shaped by environment, movement, and survival.

In the world of Thyra, this idea is reimagined through four elemental kingdoms. Each kingdom reflects a different ancestral origin, shaped by land, culture, and adaptation to fire, stone, air, or water.

The story explores what happens when those ancient distinctions are no longer buried in the past, but resurface as living forces that shape identity, power, and conflict.

When will it be published?

The first draft of the manuscript is approximately 75% complete. I’m aiming to have the novel ready for publication in the first half of 2026.

Fire Kingdom (Eretari – Homo erectus): Known as the Fire-Keepers, shaped by flame and strength.
Stone Kingdom (Navarim – Neanderthals): The Stone-Blooded, grounded and resilient.
Air Kingdom (Flarosi – Homo floresiensis): The Sky-Folk, quick, cerebral, and spiritual.
Water Kingdom (Denasivii – Denisovans): The Deep-Bloods, calm, strategic, and connected to water and storms.
